Who qualifies for loft insulation grants?

What if I already have some insulation?
Loft insulation grants can cover topping up existing insulation to the recommended depth. Old or damaged insulation may be removed and replaced if necessary.
How does ECO4 funding compare to GBIS?
ECO4: Covers full whole-house upgrades (including loft insulation) for low-income or fuel-poor households.
GBIS: Offers single insulation measures (like loft insulation) to households in specific Council Tax bands; sometimes requires a contribution.
