Cookie policy

Last updated 17 July 2026

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a small number of necessary cookies to operate this website. Optional analytics, experience recording and marketing technologies only run after you give permission.

You can accept, reject or choose categories from the first-visit panel. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Necessary cookies

These support a choice or service you request. They cannot be switched off through the cookie settings because the website needs them for that purpose.

Optional categories

Analytics

Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics help us understand visits, popular pages and website performance. Common Google Analytics cookies include _ga and _ga_*. These services remain off until Analytics is selected.

Experience recording

Microsoft Clarity can record interaction patterns such as clicks, scrolling and page navigation so we can identify confusing parts of the website. Common Clarity cookies include _clck and _clsk. This service remains off until Experience recording is selected.

Marketing

Google advertising and Meta measurement can help us understand whether an advert led to a visit or enquiry. Common identifiers can include _gcl_au and _fbp. These services remain off until Marketing is selected.

Consent Mode v2

The website uses Basic Consent Mode v2. Google Tag Manager is held back until you allow at least one optional category. The four Google consent signals for analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are set from your saved choice before Google tags load.

Third-party retention

Third-party cookie names and retention periods can change when providers update their services. Google Analytics identifiers commonly remain for up to two years, Clarity identifiers for a session or up to one year, and advertising identifiers for around three months. The exact period can also depend on the current tag configuration and your browser settings.
